Honey Pot
Honey Pot is thrown on the wheel. It has
various clay applications and multiple glazes. It
is high fired in reduction in a gas kiln. I
decorated a lid with a nice red wood handle
adding organic country quality to this charming

Black Root Jar
Black Root Jar is thrown on the wheel and altered. After black
slip was applied to leather hard white clay body, "sgraffito"
decorating technique was used to expose contrasting clay
body beneath. High fire in reduction in a gas kiln.  This elegant
jar has organic quality. Dimensions: 5" in diameter x 12" tall.

This basket is thrown on the wheel and altered. Shino glaze
gives the subtle emphasis to the hand carvings. Multiple
glaze and oxide wash applications. The basket is high fired
in reduction in a gas kiln.  Dimensions: 10.5" wide x 10" tall
(including the handle).

Feathered Leaf Saucer. This beautiful saucer  can use it for so
many things: cream, syrup, oil and more. It is thrown on the wheel and
heavily altered. Very thin coils of clay mixed with iron oxide were scored to
the saucer creating organically shaped delicate leaves. Blue reduction
glaze was applied after bisque firing. Later it was high fired in a gas kiln.
