Red Thirsty Soil Vase
This organic form reminds you of cracked thirsty soil.  The vase is thrown
on the wheel. The vase was expanded from inside out while spinning on
the wheel. Special "sodium silicate" method was used to achieve deep
crackles. High fired in a gas kiln in reduction.  SOLD!
Milky Anemone  Vase
This organic nature inspired form symbolizes harmony
with nature.  The vase is thrown on the wheel and was
heavily altered . After white slip was applied to the dark
stoneware body, the vase was expanded from inside out
while spinning on the wheel. Special "sodium silicate"
method was used to achieve deep crackles. High fired
in a gas kiln in reduction.  SOLD!

resist technique washing of clay from non-waxed areas; multiple glazing

carved out by hand and painted with underglaze and
later covered  with wax. The vase was dipped in
multiple glazes and high fired in reduction in a gas kiln.
